After trying several schools in Shanghai over 2 years and having some disappointments, I was dreaming to find the school where I can progress fast in learning Mandarin. I join SN Mandarin last summer with the aim to prepare the November session of the HSK. My teacher Annie is the perfect match to do it. She helps me a lot and she is truly a part of the success. Other members of the team were as well highly committed to help me. I have found my experience here at SN Mandarin to be an overall positive experience. I have enjoyed studying here for the last six months and wish to continue my studies here in the future. As a native English speaker I felt overwhelmed trying to learn Mandarin but found it to be very possible through the school, giving me a sense of accomplishment the more I move forward. My teacher Amanda, as well as all of the teachers, have been more than patient and helpful, not only with learning a new language but with getting to know Shanghai as well. Because the school offers small classes, one on one lessons, the teachers can spend more time getting to know the students and the best ways for each individual to learn, getting to know our strengths and weaknesses. My partner and i have been with SN Mandarin school for almost about a year now. When I first spoke with SN Mandarin about the classes, I immediately felt that the school was understanding of our needs and really wanted to help us learn Chinese. Since then, the school and teachers have been very accommodating to our circumstances and adaptive to our skil level. I feel that the teachers are well trained and knowledgable with the mateial and different teaching methods We are not yet fluent in Mandarin, but we are still excited to keep learning.
